📌 Overview
The ransomware group MEDUSA has claimed responsibility for a large-scale breach of RE/MAX, a globally recognized real estate franchisor headquartered in Denver, Colorado. Founded in 1973, RE/MAX reportedly employs approximately 140,000 individuals across its international operations.

The attackers allege they have exfiltrated a massive 151.80 GB of sensitive corporate data, with a countdown timer of 18 days before public release if their demands are not met. Sample files leaked on the dark web show extensive internal documentation, property layouts, employee information, and transaction records.
