Refund Policy
Dark Web Informer - Cyber Threat Intelligence Platform
Introduction
This Refund Policy explains how Dark Web Informer handles refunds, cancellations, billing errors, chargebacks, and payment disputes for subscriptions, digital access, API access, invoices, and related services.
By purchasing or subscribing to Dark Web Informer, you agree to this Refund Policy, our Terms of Service, our Acceptable Use Policy, and any checkout terms shown at the time of purchase.
Digital Access Begins Immediately
Dark Web Informer provides digital subscription access to cyber threat intelligence, feeds, screenshots, API endpoints, exports, alerts, and related online services.
Access begins immediately after payment is accepted or after access is manually provisioned. Because the Service provides immediate digital access, subscriptions and digital purchases are treated as consumed once access begins.
All Sales Are Final
We do not provide refunds for subscription payments, renewal payments, partial billing periods, unused time, unused API calls, unused exports, unused screenshots, or failure to use the Service after purchase.
Refunds, credits, extensions, or account adjustments may be offered at our sole discretion, but any discretionary adjustment does not create a future obligation to provide the same outcome again.
Cancellations
You may cancel a recurring subscription to stop future billing. Cancellation does not automatically refund prior payments.
- Canceling a subscription stops future renewal charges
- Access generally continues until the end of the paid billing term
- We do not provide prorated refunds for unused time
- Failure to cancel before renewal does not create an automatic refund right
You are responsible for managing your subscription before the next billing date.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued for the following situations:
- Changing your mind after purchase
- Failure to use the Service after access was provided
- Partial billing periods or unused subscription time
- Failure to cancel before a recurring renewal
- Account suspension or termination for violating our Terms of Service or Acceptable Use Policy
- Account sharing, credential sharing, API key sharing, scraping, abuse, or attempts to bypass limits
- Regional access restrictions, payment restrictions, or legal restrictions that apply to your location
- Incompatibility with your internal tools, workflows, browser settings, VPN, firewall, or security software
- Temporary downtime, delayed alerts, missed notifications, source outages, or third-party infrastructure issues
- Use of the Service for a purpose not permitted by our policies
Duplicate Charges & Billing Errors
We may review and correct confirmed billing errors, duplicate charges, incorrect invoice amounts, or payment processor mistakes.
To request review of a suspected billing error, contact us within 7 days of the charge and include:
- The email address used for purchase
- The charge date and amount
- The payment processor receipt or invoice ID, if available
- A short description of the suspected error
If we confirm that a duplicate charge or billing error occurred, we may issue a refund, credit, or correction through the original payment method where possible.
Cryptocurrency Payments, Bank Transfers & Invoices
Cryptocurrency payments, bank transfers, invoice payments, and manually processed payments are final unless we determine that a billing error occurred or a refund is required by law.
- Cryptocurrency payments may be affected by network fees, exchange-rate movement, wallet errors, and settlement delays
- Bank transfers and invoice payments may require additional clearing time before access is provisioned
- Invoices are final once generated and cannot be modified or reissued after payment unless we choose to correct an error
- Refunds, where approved, may be reduced by unrecoverable processor fees, network fees, chargeback fees, or bank fees
Service Availability, Feed Accuracy & Feature Changes
Dark Web Informer is provided on a best-effort basis. Feeds, alerts, screenshots, API endpoints, exports, search results, ransomware records, indicators, and third-party source monitoring may be delayed, incomplete, unavailable, duplicated, or changed.
We do not provide refunds, credits, or service extensions for downtime, maintenance, source outages, feed delays, unavailable screenshots, API throttling, export caps, missed alerts, AI or OCR errors, or changes to features, pricing, limits, or data coverage.
Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us before filing a chargeback so we can review the issue.
Filing a chargeback, payment dispute, or payment reversal may result in immediate suspension of your account, API keys, exports, and future access while the dispute is reviewed.
Fraudulent, abusive, or bad-faith disputes may result in permanent account termination, refusal of future service, and submission of evidence to the payment processor.
