Overview

The BERT ransomware group has claimed responsibility for an attack on All Ring Tech Co., Ltd., a prominent Taiwanese manufacturer of automated equipment used in the semiconductor, LED, and electronics industries. The attackers assert they have exfiltrated over 5 terabytes of sensitive data and have already begun leaking a portion of it on their dark web leak site.

Founded in 1996 and headquartered in Kaohsiung City, Taiwan, All Ring Tech provides equipment for high-tech applications such as optical inspection, resistor stacking, LCD sorting, dicing, and solar energy production lines. The breach could have significant implications across the semiconductor and industrial automation supply chain.
