According to company officials, the attack has caused significant operational disruptions. The firm announced the incident through its official social media channels, confirming that internal systems have been partially paralyzed.

At present, Nickelhütte Aue can only be contacted via telephone as internal and external cybersecurity teams work to restore functionality. The company stated it is cooperating closely with the relevant authorities to investigate and mitigate the impact.
