Overview
A ransomware group known as MEDUSA has claimed responsibility for an attack on CPI Books UK, a leading book printing service provider in the United Kingdom. The group alleges that 183.20 GB of company data has been exfiltrated, including confidential business documents, financial records, and personal data.
The attackers have set a public countdown timer, giving CPI Books a limited time to pay the ransom before the stolen data is either published or sold. The ransomware group has also shared sample screenshots of the compromised files on their dark web leak portal.
