On July 14, 2025, the ransomware group Cicada3301 claimed responsibility for an attack on Conasa Infraestrutura S.A., a major Brazilian utilities infrastructure company. The actor alleges to have exfiltrated 260 GB of internal data. The claim was made on their Tor-based leak site, and screenshots were shared as a demonstration of the breach.
