🌟 Version 3.1 - November 20th, 2024

🎉 New Features:

  • Released A Telegram Bot. If you don't want to subscribe to the platform, but still want to get threat alerts and ransomware alerts, you can now subscribe there. /start @DarkWebInformer_Bot. $5/month, $30/year, $50/lifetime.

⚙️ Improvements:

  • Added 3 Ransomware Groups

  • Made some performance tweaks to the Homepage

🐛 Bug Fixes:

  • Threat Feeds and Ransomware feed stopped updating the cards on each page. This was the result of the YAML file missing a required argument.

🌟 Version 3.0 - November 11th, 2024

🎉 New Features:

⚙️ Improvements:

  • Migrated to new infrastructure for improved backend performance and to be able to handle new upcoming features
  • Migrated an internal tool to another tool to be more cost effective without losing the needed features
  • Increased error handling/logging in backend to easily identify issues with services using Tor
  • Status Page would fail for 1-2 hours at a time and auto recover on its own. The move to the new infrastructure allows for better performance to hold 400 sites being monitored with more than 200 using Tor. Still monitoring but looks good so far
  • The server and scripts are configured to only use Tor and rotate bridges daily. Monitoring this to ensure no outages
  • Removed 5 Ransomware groups due to inactivity. This was updated on the subscribers page and status page
  • Added 4 Ransomware groups in the subscribers page and status page
  • Updated 5 Ransomware group Onions
  • Added 1 Darknet Market

  • Removed several Stressers that failed to respond in the last couple weeks, possibly due to the recent LEA takedown in that community.. unconfirmed

🐛 Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug that excluded certain posts on the Pro Feed
  • Fixed layout on status page so it can be viewed on mobile devices. Open your browser on your mobile device and change to desktop site. You will now be able to zoom in and out without the page being completely cut off
  • Fixed a bug with the live threat feed python script that was causing duplicated GET requests
  • Fixed a bug with the live Threat Feed that prevented the cards from being updated after the move
  • Resolved another issue with X posts sometimes not showing the preview image. If you don't see the image, try refreshing the page on X. If that doesn't work it's a X issue and the image will show fine on the platform and other socials. I see others having this same issue

  • Moved servers for the status page to fix the issue with Dark Web sites consistently all going down at the same time for 1-2 hours at a time. After 1 day of monitoring, the server is stable and the responses from Onions is also good.

  • Added an onion that was missing for B.C. in Fraud Vendors
  • Updated the top half of the text on all Subscriber categories

  • [Medium]: The server that hosts the uptime site would routinely stop working and services would fail exactly 3 days of being up. After not being able to locate the issue, a workaround is in place to restart the server every 2 days via cron and a script is run to shrink the database that the server uses to store information. I confirmed no further intervention is needed by me to do this, therefore monitoring the automation of this is all that is needed.

  • Android and iOS when visiting the site and choosing Desktop mode, the site would not show correctly as you would see it on a PC. This is fixed and was due to incorrect coding in a HBS file.

  • First revision of the Crypto Services Subscriber area is complete. It contains Exchanges, Mixers, Swappers, etc. There is 33 different Services, containing 48 Clearnet and Onion Addresses. Did I miss something? Tell me.
  • Darknet Market PGP and Darknet Market Admin PGP is complete. There are 5 missing Admin PGP that are not provided clearly and will be added once found. Threat Actor PGPs has been started and first revision will be done this week. These can all be found on the Subscriber area.

  • The clarity issue on the feature image is not a bug. It simply has to do with the uploaded graphic not meeting the minimum image feature HxW. The feature image will be part of the body of the post and will show correctly.
  • darkwebinformer.com/latest was showing a 404 page. This has been resolved.
  • The RSS feed was showing 2 blank article posts that are public for everyone. This has also been resolved.
  • RSS direct feed link was not showing posts properly line by line. This is also resolved.

  • 📊 Real-Time Monitoring: A Status page dedicated to monitoring all Clearnet and Onion links that are tracked on the Subscribers page.
