📌 Overview

On September 23, 2025, the Medusa ransomware group listed CCMC on its dark web portal.

According to the threat actors, 2.92 TB of organizational data was exfiltrated. Medusa set a countdown timer of roughly 9–10 days, threatening to publish the stolen data unless a ransom is paid.

The ransom demand includes options such as:

  • $10,000 to extend the countdown
  • $750,000 to delete all stolen data
  • $750,000 to download the full dataset
