Cabedelo City Hall reports that, following the cyberattack and the physical break-in at the Secretariat of Social Assistance (Semas), immediate steps were taken to protect the institution and keep services running normally.
The Metropolitan Guard has been instructed to reinforce security across all municipal buildings to prevent further incidents and safeguard public property, staff, and administrative information.
The City also mobilized the General Controller of the Municipality (CGM) and the Secretariat of Technology (SECTIN). Both teams are working together to assess the damage, restore affected systems, and apply additional digital security protections.
No essential public services have been disrupted. All response efforts are being carried out with transparency, responsibility, and urgency.
The administration reiterates its commitment to protecting public data, preserving the integrity of municipal operations, and strengthening both physical and digital security throughout Cabedelo City Hall.
