📌 Overview
The Cactus ransomware group has claimed responsibility for an attack on ASSA ABLOY, a global leader in access solutions and security systems, alleging they have exfiltrated 229GB of sensitive corporate data.

According to the dark web leak site, the stolen data includes business strategies, executive management details, legal and financial records, payroll information, internal communications, and database exports. The Cactus gang has shared a small portion of the stolen data as proof, with the rest reportedly held for ransom or sale.

Given ASSA ABLOY’s critical role in security infrastructure, the breach raises concerns regarding industrial espionage, financial fraud, and identity theft risks for executives and employees.
