We are back at over 400,000 users now and in a couple months we will be 7 years old. How time goes by so fast.
2025 will mark quite a few milestones for us here. A lot of delayed projects will finally get released. Getting things off the dread "soon" timeline.
A sneak peak on what we have in store in release order:
Test4Pay
Daunt Onion Finally Online (Probably in late February, early March)
Improved Recon
Subdread aware real-time chat
Dread Rewrite (no more 504 errors and way better spam detection)
Arti Enabled Endgame. (if arti is production ready)
In the broader darknet space we will finally have arti (https://gitlab.torproject.org/tpo/core/arti) released with full onion support. Both the performance and security improvements are significant for onion services. Load based DDOS attacks will have a significantly harder time taking down an onion service after arti is being wildly used. Good things are in development there.
Once Test4Pay is released I hope to host an exclusive charity poker tournament to help kick start some funding for the drug tests. The prize pool design will be a 50/50 split to the winner. Rebuys are allowed. All done with monero and chunk loading. It's going to be super fun. More information will be released on the first test4pay funding round.
Exciting things are in store.
