📌 Overview

On July 8, 2025, a threat actor using the alias aisdata posted a listing on a dark web forum advertising the sale of a massive U.S.-based crypto-verified database. The dataset allegedly contains 5,634,064 individual records tied to cryptocurrency users and investors. This database is being sold for $12,000 USD, and contains highly sensitive personal data including emails, names, physical addresses, phone numbers, and verification status.

The exposure of such crypto-specific data poses a significant threat to user privacy, financial safety, and the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem, especially if verified accounts are abused for identity fraud or wallet takeover attempts.
