On March 29, 2025, a threat actor using the alias Rey published a listing on a dark web forum, claiming to have leaked sensitive data belonging to the Florida Department of State. The actor shared a sample and made the full dataset available for public download.
According to the post, the breach exposed approximately 568,835 records, including 487,961 unique email addresses and other personal information such as names and physical addresses.
