There are approximately 5–6 years’ worth of Darknet Market announcements on Dread, most of which are now defunct due to various reasons such as exit scamming, seizures, etc. I am sharing those announcements with you.

In Part 1 of this article, I will share with you the announcements of what is currently considered the Top 5 marketplaces. I will also be adding tidbits for the market such as Cryptos supported.

**Please keep in mind** that a Marketplace announcement does not mean that the marketplace opened on this exact date. If an exact date or estimated date is known, it will be provided next to the market. **Markets are in alphabetical order and not by size**!
